BY CAR FROM PRAGUE, 444 km, about 5 hours’ driving
The most convenient route from Prague is via the D1 motorway in the direction of Brno. At Exit 21 follow the Linz / Č.Budějovice / Benešov direction along the 3/E55 road. Take the A7 motorway in Austria and continue to Linz. After Linz, join the A1 motorway to Salzburg. After Salzburg, take the A10 motorway to Graz/Villach. At Exit 63, go down to Altenmarkt.
BY CAR FROM BRNO, 430 km, about 4.5 hours’ driving
From Brno, we recommend going to Mikulov/Poysdorf. In Austria, take the A5 motorway to Vienna. After Vienna, take the A2 towards Wiener Neustadt. After Wiener Neustadt, take the exit from the A2 to the S6 road towards Semmering. After Leoben, continue driving to the A9 motorway and continue towards Linz/Salzburg. At Selzthal, take the B320 road towards Radstadt / Schladming / Liezen and continue to the exit leading to Altenmarkt.
BY CAR FROM OSTRAVA, 604 km, about 6 hours’ driving
The journey from Ostrava is similar to that from Brno. Follow the D1 motorway in the direction of Olomouc and Brno. From Brno, we recommend going to Mikulov/Poysdorf. In Austria, take the A5 motorway to Vienna. After Vienna, take the A2 towards Wiener Neustadt. After Wiener Neustadt, take the exit from the A2 to the S6 road towards Semmering.
